Mr. Nesser has considerable experience assisting attorneys in a wide variety of disputes and business litigations through the analysis of financial, accounting, economic and tax issues, including business valuations, analysis of lost profits, and evaluations of other economic damages. He served as a professor of accounting and finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a Business Valuator. Mike is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the AICPA. His background includes audit and tax experience at Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. He has provided expert testimony in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Mrs. Shankland has been a consultant with Nesser Consulting Group for more than 15 years. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 2003 and passed the exam with a ranking well within the top 5% nationwide. She graduated from Capital University, Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA in 2002 with dual majors in accounting and finance. She has assisted in the preparation of business valuations, and damage analyses involving fraud, patent infringement, breach of contract and many other legal disputes. She has had experience with a wide variety of financial analyses including valuing marital assets, asset tracing, and calculation of lost profits. She has worked on cases involving the accounting treatment of companies in liquidation, and has assisted in recreating financial records. Amanda is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the AICPA.
